I had some plans, both for reading and writing this week, but then Kate Messner‘s 59 Reasons to Write showed up and now everything else is on hold until I’m done. If the blog goes quiet for a couple of days, you’ll know why.
I revisit my memories of Kate’s sessions from 2014 SCBWI Midwinter at least once a week—her workshop at the Plot Intensive, her beautiful keynote on The Spectacular Power of Failure. She was so moving on the importance of celebrating the small successes. This part is particularly on my mind these days. I can hardly remember the call about the award.
